If you send us a text for translation or revision, we suggest that you follow these simple tips, which may save misunderstandings and time.

- Please indicate, at least the first time they appear, all abbreviations (those not defined in the text), brands, names (cell lines, etc), neologisms if you introduce them, and any other word you feel that could introduce confusion. A practical way to indicate such words would be to write them in a different colour or to use the text marker.
- Provide explanatory footnotes whenever you feel it is convenient. All of the relevant information you can provide us will facilitate the translation and consequently, save time.

Format
We habitually work with electronic text files in Word. We also accept other formats, but please indicate so when contacting with us. You can also send us a hard copy.

Security strategies
We keep strict confidentiality about your text and personal details. However, authors may want to follow these simple security strategies. The idea is to send us the complete text (what need translation) excluding some essential data, without which it is not possible to understand or publish the manuscript. For example

· Send the manuscript without figures. You can exclude all of the figures or some of them (it is not convenient to exclude figures containing labels or text, which needs translation). Replace each figure by a reference (figure 1, figure 2, etc.) so that you can later reinsert them correctly into the translated text.

· Send the manuscript without tables. If you have tables with numerical data, you can exclude them, since they do not need translation. Replace them by references (table A, table B, etc.). An alternative is to send them blank, keeping the headings for us to translate

· Send the manuscript without Statistics. For example, if you write "the response of groups A and B is significantly different (A>B z=3.46, p<0.005)" you can replace the parenthesis by a reference like "the response of groups A and B is significantly different (Mann Withney A-B), or (Z-test A-B), or (comparison A-B), etc."

You may want to follow one of these suggestions or all of them. By leaving out any of the former key-information, your article cannot be used by any one else. Only you can fill in the gaps with the relevant information to have an understandable article again. However, special attention should be paid not to remove information necessary for the translation. Please reference every thing you exclude from your original, so that you can reinsert it correctly into the translated manuscript.

Translation fees
0.102 €/original word. Words are counted with Word for Windows. Lists of bibliography, numerical data, scientific names, etc., which do not require translation, are not charged.

Revision and correction fees
If you have already translated your manuscrip and need revision and correction, our fee is 55,00 € per working hour. The total amount will depend on the quality of your original. You can contact us for a previus evaluation of the manuscript and a free-of-charge pesonalized final budget.
